This event will feature a detailed discussion of the IDB Group’s (the IDB, the Multilateral Investment Fund, and the Inter-American Investment Corporation) work in Latin America and the Caribbean, with some focus on its efforts in Haiti.

Julie T. Katzman is currently serving as Interim Executive Vice President of the IDB. She continues to fulfill her duties as General Manager of the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF), which she began in March 2009.
José Agustín Aguerre is manager of the Haiti Country Department, which was established to coordinate the IDB’s response to the Jan. 12, 2010 earthquake. Prior to his appointment to this new post, he served as interim manager of the Infrastructure and Environment Sector and chief of its Transport Division.
Steven Reed is in charge of the finance, legal, portfolio management, operations and technical assistance areas, among other Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) business and support units. He came to the IIC in 1990 from First National Bank of Chicago, where he held several positions both in the United States and in Brazil.
Antoni Estevadeordal joined the IDB in 1993 and he is currently the Manager of Integration and Trade. He has expertise in trade policy, economic integration and regional co-operation policies in Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia and Europe.
