In Canada, CTPL offers short seminars in current trade policy issues for government officials and private sector representatives. CTPL regularly offers two-day training courses on Canada and the International Trading System and on US trade politics.

Each year in the spring, CTPL offers a Certificate Program in Trade Policy and Commercial Diplomacy, comprised of 3 weeks of intensive study, including policy analysis and negotiation skills development.

CTPL has over 20 years of experience in the design and delivery of customized training courses to address the specific needs of individual government departments and agencies. CTPL has recently developed professional training courses for Industry Canada, the Department of Finance, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Environment Canada and Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada.
