Pakistan: The Implications of the World Trade Organization 1997

Under this project, CTPL delivered four seminars on the impact of the Uruguay Round on Pakistan to public and private sector representatives in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and Faisalabad. The seminars focused on the economic institutional, and legal implications for Pakistan of its obligations and commitments under the WTO. The main emphasis was on the WTO agreements on textiles and clothing, agriculture, and trade-related investment measures. (CIDA)
