Russia: Canada-Russia Trade Policy Linkages 1995–1999

This program funded by CIDA encompassed a broad range of elements including: institutional capacity development, trade policy training and advisory services, and formation of collaborative research and other linkages. Selected achievements included the creation of a independent think-tank in Russia (CTPL Moscow) as a CTPL partner, improved knowledge in government and public of WTO rules and issues, improved capacity in Russia to manage its accession to the WTO, and developed the capacity of academic institutions in Russia on international trade issues.
