Research and Publications

CTPL encourages both applied and theoretical research in the area of trade policy by assisting qualified scholars obtain the necessary funds to carry out their research. Research will also be promoted through the publication of refereed monographs and conference proceedings, as well as the development of a resource centre to act as a central repository for material on trade policy. CTPL will promote its national mandate by inviting scholars from across Canada to participate in seminars, special lectureships, conferences and research projects and stimulate a flow of human resources between academic, government, business and labour organizations.
